Two-layer insulation - is an effective and cost-effective solution for roof insulation. The heat-insulating layer is formed from mineral wool plates of various density, the top layer of more rigid cotton wool, the bottom - from less rigid. This solution provides high strength of the insulating layer to point loads, low thermal conductivity, low cost.
When installing waterproofing layers of the roof directly on the insulation, the upper layer of insulation must have a compressive strength at 10% deformation of not less than 60kPa.
